On the move!

And so it begins...first with the roll-over, before we know it she'll be across the room! Our little Brooke is doing so great and was SO proud of herself this weekend when she rolled from her tummy to her back! Well it was kind of a topple-over that suprised her, but then she was so excited to do it over and over! My mom, dad and sis were all here to see it which was pretty cool. She just recently fell in love with her exersaucer and those little legs are getting so strong, she's growing up so fast!

This thing called Bumbo

So I just bought this little seat for Brooke, something I'd always wished I'd had with Ben so was not about to go without this time! It's a little foam booster kind of seat called a bumbo, and Ben is waaaay interested in the little purple thing, it's hilarious! What blows my mind is that he fits in it, most kids grow out of it at like 9 months but his skinny little thighs fit in there no problem. As you can see Brooke likes it too, and as soon as she can hold up her head a little better will be spend some time up and viewing the world! She's doing so great, just turned 3 months and is a smiley and cooing little girl. She is so easygoing, we are so blessed to have two such great kiddos!

Awwwww melt my heart...

Ben wanted to hold Brooke and they hung out for like a half hour! He didn't even want to leave her to eat his lunch. She stayed totally calm in his arms looking up at him, and he's so good about petting her head and putting the binky back in if she makes the slightest whine. The one of them with his baba cracks me up with them both sucking away. I kept a close eye on them and saw Ben's eyes start to droop, they both totally fell asleep! Sooooo sweet....

Whoa...

Okay...are these two just mirror images or what?! The one of Brooke reminded me of one that I loved of Ben so I pulled them up side by side and wow....they look more alike than I realized!! And they're almost exactly the same age here!

Birthday and Easter

It's been a fun past few weeks for us and Benjamin, with the chance to celebrate his 2nd birthday and Easter. We've had lots of fun with friends and family! He's talking more every day and always making us laugh. He's moved into a "big boy" bed which has been a bit of a challenge, and definitely asserting his independence, but he is after all two!! Baby sister will be here in a few short weeks and we can hardly wait. He loves to hang out with his cousin Hailee and with the nice weather finally here we're having a ton of fun playing outside!
