The Ultrasound

We had our ultrasound on December 23rd and got to see our healthy baby GIRL! We both cried at the sight of her and have been SO excited ever since. I don't know if you will be able to see anything here that at all resembles a baby, but I keep forgetting to show the video to our families so will try to post it here! In this video clip she starts out on her side facing us and has her arms up by her head, and you can see her little heart beating away. Then she flips over onto her back and you can see a great shot of her little spine.

Here is a still shot of her profile too...you can see her little lips and chin and her hand is up by her face. She was really active during the ultrasound so it was hard to get good shots, and she continues to be just as active! I love technology, I wish we could have an ultrasound and see her every month!

The Holidays

Where to even begin...we had so much fun over the holidays this year! Ben loved the snow and got to play in it for the first time, and it was so beautiful to have a white Christmas! We were so giddy over seeing our healthy baby girl just a couple days before at our ultrasound, we have so much to be thankful for. We had a wonderful Christmas morning at home with Ben, but also got to spend time and celebrate with both sides of the family. He was really good at ripping open those gifts and has been busy playing ever since! Mike has been off work since Christmas Eve, and I've only had to work a couple days so we have had a LOT of good quality family time home together. Happy New Year to everyone!
